Built in 1905, this private house retains many of its original features such as stained glass, marble carvings, decorative ironwork and carpentry with parquet flooring throughout. The high stucco ceilings are a prime example of how space was created using highly skilled craftsmen whose romantic ornamentation epitomised the Belle Époque style.
A sleeping place the way we like it, with a good balance between hospitality and privacy. We hope you agree.

This stately house has been converted into a private part, 3 guestrooms, 2 studios and 1 apartment.
The 3 spacious guest rooms are called Sissi, Victoria and Gustav. Each have their own distinctive character. Located on the first and second floor the rooms measure approximately 5m x 5m.
For instance, Sissi, the olive green and pink stucco room is adorned with a crystal chandelier and gilded framed mirrors and little tables.
Victoria on the other hand is dressed with cosy English rose-wallpaper and is adjacent to the upstairs room Vicky, which has two single beds. These two rooms, together yet apart are comfortable for a family.
Gustav, located on the second floor exudes tranquil Swedish charm through the use of Scandinavian colours and authentic floorboards.
All rooms have en suite bathrooms with bath-tubs and contain a TV, alarm clock/radio and tea and coffee making facilities. The beds are provided with good mattresses.

Adjacent to our living space is the breakfast room which has individual tables. A buffet which provides wholesome products such as freshly baked bread, cheese and ham, yoghurt, cereals, fresh fruit salad and a warm dish is presented.

The old city centre is within walking distance. If you walk through the Leopoldstraat, it will take 20 minutes to reach the famous Cathedral as long as you\'re not distracted by the beautiful shops! This is one of the most pleasant shopping areas in the city (Wilde Zee and Quartier Latin). After a 10-minute walk in the opposite direction, you\'ll discover the trendy area \'Het Zuid\'. The prices are per room, per night, breakfast included. We only took bookings of minimum 2 nights
double room: 70 euro (*65 euro)
single room: 60 euro
family room for 4 people: 105 euro (*100 euro)
family room for 3 people: 95 euro (*90 euro)
extra person: 15 €
* Reduction is possible as of five nights out of weekend and bankholidays
If you do not wish to have breakfast, we subtract 2,5 € per person.
