Bed and breakfast "De Vesting (The Fortress)" is located in the charming village of Lillo thumbnail on the right bank of the Schelde.
This fortified village built in the 16th century to defend the city of Antwerp, is now surrounded by the port. This green gem is classified as a heritage village by face and still exudes the nostalgic village life of a bygone era.
A walk on the dikes, or stroll in the small harbor at the weekend by ferry transfer at Doel, do you remember that you only 15 minutes away from the center of Antwerp are removed.
Our house is fully renovated in 2008 and located centrally in the village square.

We have 3 2-bed rooms each with private bath or shower, toilet and sink. Each room is equipped with LCD TV and internet.
The largest room is located on the top floor has its own living and has a beautiful view of the Schelde, the dikes and associated fauna.

A full breakfast is served in the dining area. This breakfast includes freshly baked breads, croissants, different kinds of fillings, cereals, fruit, eggs, cheese, yogurt, juice, coffee and a choice of teas.

By using the ferry, you can explore “het Waasland”.
