Grimbergen is situated in the countryside of Flemish-Brabant, the northwest region inside the \'Green Belt\' around Brussels.
Our region offers you numerous pedestrian walkways to discover picturesque places in Grimbergen, such as the abbey church, the observatory MIRA, and the watermills. Cyclists will also find some interesting tours such as : The “Vier Dorpenroute” which leads through the different boroughs.
You could also consider a visit to the castle of Gaasbeek or to the National Botanic Garden in Meise, the Observatory Mira or Living Tomorrow in Vilvoorde.
The city of Brussels deserves a longer stay. Think of the Market Place, the Royal Palace, the different museums (the Museum of Comic Strips, the Museum of Natural Science, and many others), the Atomium, the Sunday market near the South Station, the early morning market and Bruparck (Oceadium, Kinepolis and Mini-Europe).
