DE OUDEWERF GASTENHUIS is located in Veen, a small village in the center of The Netherlands.
The house was originally build in 1848, but was renovated and converted into a Bed-and-Breakfast in 2002 by the current owners.
The Bed-and-Breakfast is situated on both the ground and first floors.
On the ground floor are two rooms with en-suite bathrooms, the childrensroom and a diningroom / lounge area.
On the first floor are two rooms with a shared bathroom and a diningroom / lounge area.
Both the diningroom / lounge areas are equiped with a microwave oven, kettle and toaster for the use of our guests.
We have ample parking available and the guestroom areas do have their own entrances.

At DE OUDEWERF GASTENHUIS we have two guest areas.
On the groundfloor we have two double bedrooms with en-suite facilities.
On the first floor we have another two bedrooms with a shared bathroom.
Both areas do have a diningroom / lounge area for our guests' exclusive use.

Slot Loevenstein – Historic castle build in 1368 by Dirc Loef van Horne. The escape of Hugo de Groot made this castle famous. (Woudrichem)
Kasteel Dussen – Historic castle build in 1387 in Dussen by Arent van der Dussen. (Dussen)
Den Dekker – One of ten wooden shoe (klompe) makers in Holland who still manufacter wooden shoes by hand. (Dussen)
Land van Ooit – Attraction park for the smaller children (A59 at exit 41)
Efteling – Attraction park for the whole family (Waalwijk)
Heusden – Old town with harbour from where you can take boat trips on the Maasriver
De Witte Molen - Build in 1740 and moved 800-meters to its new position in 1987 on a lowbed with 160 wheels. (Meeuwen)
De Biesbosch - This National Park is one of its kind and dates back to 1421 with special flora and fauna.
