Description As photographers, we have been to lots of places and we have stayed the night in a wide variety of accommodations scattered all over the world. It is a pleasant feeling to come home, even when you are abroad. That is the feeling we wanted to give to travellers paying a visit to our city. Our Bed & Breakfast offers just that little something extra. Our B & B is situated in the heart of the magnificent city of Ghent, in the shadow of Saint Bavo’s cathedral and Sint-Jacobsplein, and within a stone’s throw of the Castle of the Counts of Flanders and the Belfry. There is a wide choice of good and enjoyable restaurants and nice shops in the neighbourhood. Moreover Ghent has an entertaining nightlife; Verne Dreaming is the ideal point of departure to explore Ghent in all its fascinating aspects. Annie is our hostess. She will give you a warm welcome. Rooms and Accommodation Our accomodation offers you 2 extra-ordinary rooms. Shanghai : a playful mix between a Chinese opium lounge and a Parisian boudoir from the 1920s. The naughty interior in combination with an atmoshere of informal luxury is a heaven of peace in the historical city centre. In the bathroom, which smoothly merges into the bedroom, you can dream away in a freestanding tub with a view of the private inner terrace, or you can enjoy a refreshing rain shower. This spacious room is situated on the ground floor. The Shanghai room also has a private terrace with a jacuzzi ! Oxford is situated on the 2nd floor. This spacious room offers an eclectic mixture of the English Oxford style with the warm atmosphere of oriental fairy tales. While you are taking a bath in the Victorian bath tub, you stay in contact with the bedroom. An electrical train and a lp-player give an extra playful touch. Both rooms are fully equiped with : flat screen television, dvd player, hifi, extra long bed, private bathroom with bath and shower, ... .

Rates Shanghai : 125 euro, including breakfast and city tax. Oxford : 100 euro, including breakfast and city tax. These prices are per night and per room, for 2 persons. Breakfast is included.

Extra info Smoking is not allowed in our rooms. The terrace of the Shanghai room is the only place where you can smoke. There is a paying, covered car park within walking distance. Both rooms are equiped with a mini bar. We offer you a selection of champagne, wine, beer and other refreshments at very reasonable prices.
